Dear AA Petticoat U.S. Customers,
As of February 3, 2025, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced new import tariffs on products originating from China, including Hong Kong. These changes were effective from 12:01 AM Eastern Time on February 4, 2025. The key points of this adjustment include:

Elimination of the Small-Value Duty Exemption:
The $800 duty-free exemption for products valued under $800 (such as T86) will no longer apply. -
Additional Tariffs:
In addition to the base tariff rate, products will be subject to the following additional tariffs:- 301 Tariff (on specific Chinese products)
- 201/232 Tariffs (on steel, aluminum, etc.)
- A new 10% tariff on all products from China (including Hong Kong).
This means that starting from February 4, 2025, all packages sent to the U.S. from China will be subject to import duties.
AA Petticoat’s Response:
To minimize the impact on our customers, we have implemented the following measures:
- Tariff Payment Adjustment: From February 5, we have added a pre-calculated tariff fee for U.S. orders at checkout. U.S. customers will be able to view the applicable tariff on the checkout page. The final tax rate for petticoat will be 32.4%, but we only add 14.9% and will cover the rest by ourselves for you.
- DHL Shipments: For orders shipped via DHL (using the DTU method), the tariffs will be refunded to customers when the order is dispatched. This ensures customers can directly pay the tariff to DHL upon receipt of the package.
Tariff Calculation Example:
For a $25 petticoat (HS Code: 61081100 10):
- Base Tariff: 14.9%
- 301 Tariff: 7.5%
- New 10% Tariff: 10%
Total tariff rate: 32.4%. Therefore, the total tariff for a $25 petticoat would be $8.1.
AA Petticoat’s Contribution: We will absorb part of the tariff costs and only charge U.S. customers the base tariff rate of 14.9%, helping to reduce your additional costs significantly.

Future Adjustments: We will continue to monitor the policy changes and adjust our sharing scheme as needed. If this strategy impacts our operational stability, we may revise the tariff-sharing proportions, but rest assured that customer experience will always be our top priority.
